At 0-1 I thought about laying 2-1 at 13/1 same as the win odds. One more goal from Vasco would be finito...but price moved up to 14.5, 16, 17, 21/1 over 5 mins.
What I found interesting was that there weren't many layers of this price..anyway left it alone and lo and behold 1-1 with 10 mins to go....87 mins 2-1 and FT!!!!!!

SP was as low as 1.31 at home....thought about making a few quid by going in....again just reminded myself probably safer trading the horses as been making consistent profit on daily profit...

SP scrambled a goal and didn't look at all bothered after this point...Warning signs were there as SP stopped attacking and were bringing on pressure as the opposing team had some chances saved and hit the crossbar. 89 mins - away a corner scores!! 1-1 Another one dodged - unbelievable...Same comments were to be found on the Betfair soccer volumes.

BTW - I am not really a tennis fan but today was a great final...really felt for Federer but both played out this fascinating final...first time I saw odds swing from 1.71 to 2.08 during EACH point!!
No wonder tennis traders make a mint!

No Updates all week - Started Trading with Gruss

I've been trading in the evenings and subscribed to the excellent Gruss software for a value busting £5 a month.
Total profit for the week is £500 with £150 coming in this evenings racing...all wins bar one scratch.
Total bank now £1160

Somewhat a change of strategy but now thinking of building a bigger bank first with trading.

Have been too lazy today to provide screenprint so just posting results here...

All the lays were combination of afternoon and evening meets. I traded the unders in the Spain game and left it to run - which in ended in overs.

Still not found the double up opportunity yet...hopefully more choices over the weekend.

At last some bets...

The lay of turkey worried me a bit there as they could have easily stifiled the whole match and try to hold on to 1-0 but time was on my side eventually Germany winning 3-2.
Someone at work predicted 3-2 in a dream last night...I was tempted near the end but odds weren't that great @ 12/1 with only a few minutes and IT left...if only...
I wanted to protect my profit for the night and not waste a £10 on someones hunches...

Made some lays in the afternoon and overall today managed £81 profit...

Slow going...

I am not sure what this blog has done but I am not finding any opportunities for any bets at the moment. My plan to lay5-7 horses a day is just not happening.
Bank remains at £525...at least there is Euro football tomorrow to get into.

Turkey 1-0 would be my lay @23 on Betfair for £23.

I need cash quick....so will have 2 challenges going at the same time.

One already in place is the Steady Eddie version - starting at £520 laying betting short prices to build up bank slowly @ 2%.

The other one which I will also display on here is quick Evens double up....Starting bank will be at £150 and need Lucky 8 run to get £38k+

Two completely different approaches but need the cash and hope it doesn't distract from the steady bets. The double ups is a one off only.

Will update later in the evening on progress....

BF mobile down most afternoon so was unable to make any lays for 2 afternoon meetings...by the sounds of it - wasn't great cards to go laying outsiders in poor races...so maybe dodged a few bullets there. Back laters...

Calling it a day - unable to find suitable races for daily lays and no bets on double up...£5 for the day...so £525 for tomorrow.

Will update with spreadsheet or screenprint from Betfair when I get round to working it out how to.
